POLICY OF LAW AND LAND USE
Regarding the ownership and use of land and soil, Unicafé makes this policy public, which comprises the following guidelines:
LAND USE RIGHTS
Unicafé makes sure that it only uses properties owned and owned by Unicafé in its activities. Likewise, Unicafé values, in all its operations, good faith and respect for local communities and their respective legitimate property rights.
Ownership rights and regular use of land must be easily verified through documents such as certificates issued by Organs competent bodies, respective land registry offices, purchase and sale deeds, lease agreements or court orders.
PROTECTION AND SUSTAINABILITY OF THE EARTH
The use of land and the development of economic activity by Unicafé respects applicable environmental protection legislation. Likewise, the use of land and the development of economic activity values, respects and encourages the development of local communities and encourages their suppliers to do so.
Unicafé promotes, internally and externally, the responsible and sustainable use of natural resources, including the soil.
DIALOGUE AND SOCIO-ENVIRONMENTAL DEVELOPMENT
Unicafé maintains open channels of communication with local communities in order to investigate and resolve any complaints regarding land use, as well as to promote socio-environmental development.
ABSTENTIONS
Finally, Unicafé refrains from using, in the development of its economic activities, deforested, irregular land resulting from disturbances, land grabbing or other forms of unconsented occupation not permitted by law.

Unicafe will disseminate this internal policy among its employees, partners, suppliers and will make it available, together with its other policies and codes of conduct to society in general, through its official website: http://www.unicafe. com.br, publicizing its guidelines and making its relationships more transparent.
